regard to the tunnel in very difficult times I have to intervene stating my opinion that soon propose again. The exit of the tunnel and place a bit 'too high altitude, which means a long descent to the immense roundabout planned in the area of \u200b\u200bponds with too many drawbacks: first, the immense rotunda is not proportionate to our local historical context, and goes to destroy a magnificent historic site and nature ( already included in the SCI, but it is true, already partially destroyed by construction and operation of the years 60/70 ), characterized by springs, flora and fauna peculiar connected to the river and Meschio old waterways still perfectly identifiable that should be restored and made known, and secondly, the roundabout in question does not arise at the intersection in front of Porta di Cadore with traffic to and from the valley going so to ease traffic congestion getting directly flow coming from the valley and the north. In my opinion the roundabout, which is more suitable to the context, it should be located at the intersection in front of Porta di Cadore exploiting existing space and allowing exit of the tunnel at a lower and more efficient connections with much less environmental impact.
However, the project has long been, and I do not think it is right at this stop advanced the process of work required ( just to limit pollution of Serravalle ) and from ca. 70 years, the City expects, suggesting imaginative alternatives, incongruous and perhaps most damaging to the City, only to political conflict!
alternative would be (though lower than in the complete displacement and output of the roundabout) to move only the roundabout near the Porta di Cadore, hold down the exit tunnel of the tunnel with only one placing more and more environmentally appropriate the existing road system.
I hope that the city government succeeds in building sites in this human time as important as it is necessary that will deeply mark the area assisted by a national sense of responsibility of politicians of every color and I hope it can and should reflect more deeply on the work that will carry out its task with efficiency Nordic and not so well, all ' Italian. The design, even the most passionate and knowledgeable, can never cover all (and alas what you found too often in public works designed and made hastily or with inadequate amounts to durability), then reflect again on the positioning the roundabout, which can easily be changed during construction to save historical and natural area of \u200b\u200bthe city and at the same time making highly efficient conveying the point of traffic flow and also save the territory.
